About This Website

This website is powered by the Wordpress open source blogging software. The design is based on Trevor Fitzgerald’s Crispp design template and adapted by PHR. The banner with the PHR torture reports is powered by the AnythingSlider jQuery Plugin by Chris Coyier.

All content on this blog is the work of Physicians for Human Rights staff, consultants and volunteers, except for specific posts that are credited to guest authors. Guest posts are the sole opinion of their authors.

Comments and Moderation

PHR produces the blog on this site in a spirit of openness; we encourage comments. Comments are open, but we do moderate them. We will remove comments that are off-topic, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory on the basis of a protected category, overly self-promotional or spam.

Feel free to deliberate, debate or disagree, but please identify yourself (as we do here) so everyone’s agendas can be open for all readers to see. If you use an alias for privacy or security, please clearly indicate any bias, agenda or affiliation relevant to your comments.

Privacy and Email

We have a strong privacy policy and we will not sell, rent or share your email address with any third party.
